For this class we are looking for portraits of your dogs in the great outdoors. You could be out for a walk, enjoying a day at the beach or just hanging out in your garden. Here's what our judge will be looking for .....
 
A portrait where your dogs face is clearly visible. It can be full body or just head and shoulders. Your dog should be facing the camera. They should be the main subject matter.
Your photo should not be edited in any way.
The photo you submit needs to have artistic flare. Think about the what's in the background as well as the subject. Try to make sure that there's no clutter to detract from your dogs portrait.
The photo should be taken in a location where the sky forms part of the portrait.
Remember that this is as much about showing off your creative skills as it is about showing off your pet.   ** No editing permitted in this class **
 
Please note: To keep things fun and fair for everyone, professional photographers are not eligible to take part. By 'professional' we mean anyone who earns an income from photography services or works on paid photography assignments.  We also do not permit images that have been purchased from photographers. That said, if you are passionate about photography, have taken classes or just happen to be really talented then you are more than welcome to take part. 
 
Please not that AI generated images are also not permitted in any of our classes. If we suspect that the image you are submitting is not in line with our rules we will contact you but no refund will be offered.
