We Support
We are super happy to be able to support a couple of really amazing charities. Each month Flo saves up her pennies to help her canine pals in need. We are delighted to be able to support The Senior Staffy Club and The Oldies Club with monthly charitable donations.
The senior staffy club
The Senior Staffy Club is a registered charity who work to help re-home older staffordshire bull terriers (7 years plus). These gorgeous dogs are often overlooked in kennels. Many people think that staffys are aggressive and this could not be further from the truth. They are the most loving, kind and adorable dogs and their breed is misunderstood by so many.
Back in 2018 Prize Paws became a Kennel Crusader for The Senior Staffy Club. We give a monthly donation which allows the charity to help find homes and safe sofa to snooze on for even more of these gorgeous dogs. You can find out more about becoming a kennel crusader by clicking here |
Oldies Club
The Oldies Club is a charitable organisation that helps to publicise the plight of the older dogs requiring rehoming. Their mission is to help as many older dogs as possible find their forever homes and find a sofa to live out their senior years. There are so many reasons to consider re-homing an older dog. They have a lot to offer. They generally exhibit less problematic behaviours than their younger counter parts. Don't think that just because they are a senior all they will do is snooze. The Oldies club has many different types of dogs with many different personalities and many different exercise requirements. There are some oldies who just enjoy a short stroll and those that will manage longer walks and time outdoors.
