Tucked away on the west coast of Scotland, French Farland is a beautifully peaceful, dog-friendly cottage just a few miles from Inveraray. Set right on the shoreline, this is a place where mornings begin with sea air and paws in the sand, and days unfold at your own gentle pace. Miles and miles of walks stretch straight from the doorstep. From walks along the beach to mile upon mile of forestry tracks, you'll barely meet another soul except perhaps a stag or a seal! 

It’s the kind of place where silence is part of the luxury, broken only by birdsong, waves lapping the shore and the happy padding of your dog exploring freely. If you’re craving space, scenery and true switch off time with your four-legged companion, French Farland offers rare seclusion in one of Argyll’s most unspoilt corners.

Terms and conditions

This month (April 2026) you and your dog could WIN a 3 night stay at French Farland Cottage, Loch Fyne. 

 

The Prize consists of a 3 consecutive night stay at French Farland. The prize is accommodation only and does not include travel, food, insurance, spending money or any additional extras unless otherwise stated. Please note that the cottage is accessed on a forestry track so a vehicle with good ground coverage is preferable.

  1. Validity Period
    The prize must be redeemed within 30 days and the stay completed within twelve (12) months of the winner being announced. After this period, the prize will expire and no extension will be offered.

  2. Exclusions
    The prize is not valid during Christmas and New Year periods.

  3. Booking & Availability
    The stay is subject to availability at the time of booking. Advance booking is required and requested dates cannot be guaranteed.

  4. Non-Transferable & No Cash Alternative
    The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.

  5. Guest Responsibilities
    The winner and their party agree to comply with French Farland house rules and booking conditions. Any damage or additional charges incurred during the stay are the responsibility of the winner.

  6. Number of Guests
    The stay must not exceed the maximum occupancy permitted at French Farland Cottage.

  7. Travel Insurance
    The winner is responsible for arranging their own travel insurance if required.

  8. Amendments
    Prize Paws reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions if necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.
