1. The competition

1.1 These rules apply to all competitions listed on our website at https://prizepaws.co.uk

1.2 All our competition classes are skilled based photography competitions.  Competitors are required to submit photographs that are within the remit of the class brief. In all our classes the judges decision is final and refunds will not be issued for non - placements or unused entries. 

1.3 It is up to the competitor to ensure their photos are submitted by email by the competition deadline (6pm on the final day of the calendar month unless otherwise stated). Entries submitted after the closing time/date will not be included in the competition and refunds will not be offered. 

1.4 If you are unable to take part having paid for entries for reasons out with your control , refunds may be offered but this will be at our discretion. 

1.5 No cash alternatives will be provided in place of prizes or rosettes unless otherwise stated by us.

2. Eligibility

2.1 You must be over the age of 16 to take part in our competitions unless you have the permission of your parent/guardian. You must live within the United Kingdom, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man or Channel Islands.  If you live in the Republic of Ireland our sponsors may be unable to offer you a prize. If this is the case we will offer you a gift card to use on competition entries in the future. 

2.2 Photographs entered in to the competition need to have the full permission of any individual featured in the image before they can be submitted. Purchased professional images are not permitted in our competitions. Misrepresenting a professional image as your own is not permitted and your entry will termed void. No refund will be given. 

We do not all the use of photoshop to Ai generated images in our competitions. If we suspect that your image has been manipulated you will not be places. We do allow black and white images in some of our classes (please read the class brief). Adjusting the tone, brilliance or exposure us permitted. If you are not the photographer, you require their full permission to use their image before you enter. If the photograph you wish to enter is of a dog you son't own then you must get the owners permission first.

Privacy & Your Personal Information

3.1When entering one of our classes you acknowledge that your photograph, dogs name and your name may be displayed on our website and/or social media. If you do not want your image, name or dogs name to appear on our website or social media then you need to let us know. We may also use your images in our advertising campaigns unless you have asked us not to do so. 

3.2 We may share your personal details with our sponsors if we require them to send you your prize directly. In most cases we will ask you to get in touch with our sponsors to organise your prize. 

3.3 Our website uses cookies to ensure you have the best browsing experience.  It also uses analytics to help us to improve the service we provide. This information lets us know basic information about you and your browsing history such as whether you have visited our website before.
